Areas of application for our forgings
CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) and CuZn40Pb2 (CW617N) are the materials used in most applications. The very good machinability of these materials also ensures the individual production of forged parts into ready-to-install products.
Other alloys (e.g. with higher strength, resistance to seawater, dezincification resistance, etc.) can also be machined without any problems by selecting the appropriate parameters.
